“At a time when I was feeling professionally worthless, Stewart was a calm and reassuring voice, offering expert and timely advice on everything from career/ life direction to interviewing skills and the horror of CV writing. His unique mix of intelligent support ranged from empathetic hand-holding through to firm rear-end kicking, and what was remarkable was his ability to know exactly what was needed on any particular occasion. My current favourite quote is, ‘The best thing about needing help is that it’s a good way to meet people,’ which kind of says it all.” – Melanie Richardson, June 5, 2010

“Since making contact with Che two years ago through a business referral in the FMCG sector, he has always offered me sound, professional advice, acting almost as a virtual sounding board in matters of the Curriculum Vitae. What initially seemed like a standard document to me, has now become somewhat of a thesis, a personal way of expressing my commercial value. Subsequently, when Che recommended that I join LinkedIn, I accepted the challenge and have now progressed from complete ignoramus to almost ‘novice’ status.” – Paula Kneubuhler, May 5, 2010

He spent time looking at my CV providing valuable feedback and gave me some great tips for interviews. He was happy for me to call him anytime to ask questions and some last minute preparation proved invaluable – I got the job!” – Samantha Hook, March 28, 2010

“I approached Richard for help following a period of unemployment. His coaching gave me a clearer understanding of recruitment processes, and how best to achieve my goals in a challenging market. Taking a common-sense approach, Richard provides valuable tools and techniques, drawing parallels with real-life examples, and clearly explains how to apply these skills to maximize recruitment opportunities. Richard comprehensively covers his subject, delivering relevant and thought-provoking material in a professional format with genuine enthusiasm, and a remarkable ability to engage and inspire his audience.” – Andy Boyle, February 9, 2010

“Louise has been an excellent recruiter who has taken time to get to know me as an individual. She was very thorough in her interviewing and incredibly professional throughout. When helping me find a job she has been there for me at all times making me feel at ease and has always followed up calls promptly and been procactive in contacting me throughout the process. I feel like I have really got to know Louise and built up an excellent personable working relationship based on a high level of trust. I would not think twice in using Louise’s services for my own recruitment needs in the future.” – Claire Malcolm, January 29, 2010

He helped me to see many issues from a different perspective and was able to respond to my non-standard needs in a flexible manner. “I have known Richard for ten years when he placed me in Biocompatibles Hydron; since then we have kept in touch, both personally and professionally. Richard always has time for you, his personal approach is unlike any recruiter I have ever come across and for that reason I consider him more of a friend. Richard is motivated by putting the right people in the right position and I know that when I have sort his advice on a number of occasions, his advice given in a gentle manner can contain some hard home truths interspersed with some thought provoking insights, best reflected upon in the cold light of day.” – Alan Pattison, January 7, 2010

“I have known Richard for a significant period of time and whilst we had lost touch, our paths crossed again in early 2000′s. I had been made redundant and he gave me some extremely useful advice and support during that time. He was able to provide very good sounding board guidance.” – Brian Dinsmore, December 21, 2009

“I love a challenge. I want to learn something from every opportunity and person I can meet. I want to know what drives personal behaviours, how they motivate, problem solve, think and communicate, how they turn thoughts into actions and how well they understand themselves and others around them. I want to talk and share with people who are excited by life, who have a natural humanistic empathy and when we leave the dialogue we feel we are both richer for the time we have spent in each others company. This can be with the lady at the checkout counter in Morrisons and it can be with someone like Richard. Richard will stretch you personally, he certainly left me feeling I had been in one of his martial art matches. I do not know who won because although it was competitive and challenging the point was the journey. It is great fun and like a hike up a Munro in the driving rain, you will sometimes question your rationality but never the achievement. Honesty, integrity and respect are givens with Richard. I would recommend some distance if you do not share these values as even if you do he is a proponent of the loving boot school of feedback. Feedback and ideas will be given, directly if requested but subliminally and by association or story if not. It is up to you to listen. Reasonably unique in his profession feedback on Richard is expected by Richard. Richard is living life to the full and I wish we had met years ago as every meeting or telephone call gives something to explore about yourself and others around you. Enjoy, I am.” – Andrew Stott, November 19, 2009

“Richard was requested by my employer to provide me with outplacement support. My confidence was lacking slightly and Richard immediately put me at ease and helped me to identify my key strengths that I had overlooked. He quickly identified my personality after a short time in our first meeting. I have worked for the same company for over 16 years so I had not had an interview during that time. Richard taught me how to approach an interview and the best way to get across my experience and strengths. I am pleased to say that I have just accepted a role in another Company as Financial Controller and I believe Richard’s advice helped me secure this role. I highly recommend Richard as a consultant for outplacement support.” – Amanda Martin, September 30, 2009

“I have had the privelege of knowing Richard now for a number of years, in his capacity as a recruiter, he has always come up with the goods, and offers a quality service with an amazing ability to place the right people in the right job, as a careers adviser on a personal note, Richard was excellent at giving me personal guidance and direction. Richard is one of the best in the industry.” – David Price, February 17, 2009

“I have been working with Richard since I was introduced to him seven years ago, both with his company Newton Stanley for executive recruitment, and also more recently for outplacement consultancy. In his consultancy service Richard provided very perceptive, honest and stimulating feedback and advice, together with practical tools and guidance, which was all of immense benefit. It was a real pleasure working with Richard, who has great integrity and good humour, and I very much appreciated his help and support.” – Barry Redford, December 22, 2008

_________

“I have been working with Richard for nearly 10 years both as a client and a customer, to great effect personally and professionally. He is always a pleasure to work with and is the best recruiter I’ve ever dealt with. The people put in front of me have always been of the highest calibre and have given me a real choice of individuals for the role I need to fill. I’ve recently made use of his outplacement service which in typical Richard fashion is well tailored to meet the needs of the person he has before him. The process is intellectually stimulating, challenging and stretching. Richard offers un-biased opinions, combined with unambiguous feedback which ultimately help the individual to chose their destiny. He also provides some useful tools and guidance to enable them to position themselves to take the opportunities they create.” – John Donoghue, December 1, 2008

_________

“Richard was recommended to me by a colleague as someone who would provide top level outplacement consultancy. When I met Richard I found that this had rather undersold him and his talents. Richard created thought provoking and creative feedback sessions skilfully and with such tact, that if was easy to identify past behaviours which could be improved upon. With carefully challenging queries and perceptive insight into the way in which an individual presents themself, Richard is easily able to feedback constructive comments, particularly in areas which are not always obvious. I always left Richard’s sessions with a great degree of self-confidence and an ability to project myself in a much more positive manner, which paid off many times over in interview situations.” – Owen Morgan, December 1, 2008

_________

“Richard has provided Outplacement consultancy for myself and several colleagues. His sessions proved enjoyable, and his open and honest approach was well received. The professionalism and integrity which Richard displays is mirrored by his support and un-biased advice. Very much appreciated.” – Mark Lawson, November 24, 2008

_________

“I worked with Che as both his line manager and later as a colleague, for over 10 years. I have always found him to be dedicated, resourceful and passionate, especially about providing great customer service. Che has great reserves of patience and understanding and is one of those people that others look to as a spiritual leader.” – Jim Butler, September 8, 2008

_________

“Alex is an extremely professional and efficient individual. Always dilligent and dedicated to providing the best service possible for clients and candidates. She is always very personable and a pleasure to work with. It was also really refreshing to work with somebody who has ethics and strives to do the best for all concerned.” – Jennifer Shorten, August 29, 2008
